Louisiana Heritage Café & School
of Cooking serves an extensive menu of seafood, pastas, soups
and salads, in a refined yet relaxed, “white tablecloth” setting. Chef
Joseph Faroldi’s culinary creations are flavorful and
diverse, often featuring his own personal twist to traditional
Louisiana dishes, like Seafood Beignets with Remoulade Sauce,
Blackened Catfish topped with Crawfish Etouffée and
the famous “Rajun Cajun” Omelets The restaurant
is located on the first floor of the Bienville House Hotel,
and is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Monday thru Sunday 7am-10pm The Louisiana Heritage Café’s School of Cooking offers entertaining culinary lessons to individuals or groups, and is open to the general public as well as to hotel patrons. Chef Faroldi’s demonstrations provide a wonderful insight into Cajun and Creole culture and offer historic tidbits that compliment his creative technique and delicious presentation. Cooking demonstrations are currently held at the Louisiana Heritage Café, but are well suited to travel for entertaining meetings, parties and similar functions.
